Alarm glass
The glass break alarm is triggered as soon as the glass surface is damaged or broken. This occurs due to an interruption in the electrical circuit or a change in electrical resistance.
This allows damage to the walk-on GLASSFLOOR® glazing to be detected early and relayed as a safety signal—for example, to an alarm system or building management system.
Prerequisite (to be carried out by the client)
- maximum current load must not exceed 0.1 A
- Resistance is between 0.5 - 6 Ω
- connected burglar alarm system suitable for alarm spider with 4-pole cable
